Obituary of Joanne Schmidt

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Mary's General Hospital Sunday July 14, 2013 at age 77. Beloved wife of Clare for 55 years; cherished mother of Wendy Kloiber and Dana Schmidt (Laurie); adored grandmother of Lindsay, Tracy, Patricia and Ella. She will also be missed by Bob Kloiber, Erma Crossman, Len LeBlanc and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Mae Crossman; her sisters Brenda LeBlanc and Mary MacDonald and her brothers Jim and Billy Crossman. Joanne loved to travel, especially home to New Brunswick; collecting antiques, rarities and casino winnings; making her home and garden beautiful and spending time with her family and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Joanne's life held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. They are also invited to stay for the reception or visit to share memories at the funeral home from 11am until 12:30pm. A private family interment will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery following the reception.
