Obituary of Rosina Friedrich
Rosina Friedrich (Homm) passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 18th at Grand River Hospital after a long battle with kidney disease. Beloved wife of the late Alfons Friedrich (1996). Loving mother of Herbert and his wife Pauline, Robert, and Peter. Cherished Oma to Stephanie, Katharine, Ryan, Scott, and Alexandre Friedrich. Rosina was born in Grosslasseln in the Transylvania District of Romania in 1925. Survived by her brother Georg and his wife Christine Homm and numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and Canada. Predeceased by her parents Georg and Rosina Homm. A long-time member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and the Transylvania Club. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Grand River Hospital 8th floor B wing for the care and comfort they provided to Rosina and the family these last days.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Rosina with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wendell Grahlman presiding. Private interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
