I meet Herb in the summer of 1972, he was Akela and I a Service Scout at Everton Cub Camp.I swear he said his name was Mr Football, and to a thirteen year old that was pretty cool. A few days later he explained it was Quickfall. I want to say that Herb was a great leader,father-in-law and grandfather. I was amazed how he kept working right up to 2 days before his passing. He will be missed by many people. He truly was a great man and an inspiration to all.

Memories - Some people come into our lives and vanish and yet others come into our lives and leave an impression, an example, a role model, an encouragement. That was Herb and that's what memories are made of and that's what we live on.
My condolences to Herb's family and his Lions family.
What a great guy that truly will be missed.
