Obituary of Roy Kennedy

Kennedy, Roy Rufus "Tub" Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday July 23, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, at his home in his 71st year. Loving husband of Linda Marie (Endicott). Father of Gail Kennedy Ernest and husband Barry, Cheryl Doerbecker and husband Robbie, and Shelley Gregg and husband James. Proud Poppa of Brittany and Ashley Doerbecker; Jacqueline and Katlyn Kennedy Ernest; and Brody and Patrick Gregg. Brother of William and Jennifer Kennedy, Barb and Joseph Neal, and Carol and John Hopkins. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Mary Elizabeth (Young) and brothers Gordon and Robert. Friends are invited to share their memories of Roy with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday July 25, 2013 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 75 Tillsey Dr., Kitchener on Friday July 26, 2013 at 11am with Major Warrick Pilgrim officiating. A private family interment to take place following the service. Reception to follow.
