I am sorry that I will not be able to attend Fay's memorial service to celebrate a life well lived. We shared many experiences as teachers at Stanley Park, presidents of WCWTA, school administrators and hosts of our annual past presidents events. Fay enjoyed life, was a loyal friend and will be missed by many.

I first met Fay on the phone late one night in 1974 when she was WCWTA President and I was a new teacher at the Board. Over the years she continued to be there. I sat next to her at our ADK dinner in June and spoke with her last week. I will miss her - I already do.

I first met Fay 17 years ago when she came to our B&B to inspect us for membership in the Southwestern B&B Association. It only took a few minutes before I realized that I had made a new friend. However I never understood how good a friend she would be. Fay became my mentor with the business and was very instrumental in getting me going in the right direction to becoming a success.
Fay and I had many adventures, experiences and trials during these years. All were definitely unique but not all perfect. We could laugh together, cry together and disagree but at the end of it all we both knew we could count on each other for support whenever we needed it. In the last few years we have drifted a part but every once in a while an email would come through asking me how things were going and letting me know what she was up to. This to me is a true friend and I for one will miss Marjorie Fay Teal.
I am sure where ever Fay is, she is still in control of her own destiny.
Rest in peace my Friend.

In my first years at Stanley Park P.S., Fay was a great mentor. Her wit and wisdom ruled the day. No project was too grand from Shakespeare productions with the students to tennis on the grounds. She will be remembered for her vitality and enthusiasm. Glad to have known her.
