Dear Judy and Family: It is a sad time to reconnect after 50+ years and even more so to realize that we lived nearby in K-W from 78-94!

C’est un grand malheur qui nous gagne aujourd’hui. Je ne sais pas comment exprimer ce que je ressens par un jour si sombre tel que celui-là. La seule chose que je pourrai dire c’est que Hugh était ,sera et restera dans mon cœur ;un oncle formidable ,un père honorable et plein de compassion pour ses fils Inn et Bruce, et un marie exceptionnel pour Judith. En quelque mots, je vous parle d’un homme a qui revient l’honneur de nous laisser en mémoire que de merveilleux souvenir d’amour et de compassion. Je suis si triste de devoir perdre encore un membre de ma famille, si triste de voir ma mère fondre en larmes encore une fois, si triste de voir ma famille se réunir pour un événement si douloureux. I was shocked and at the news of Mr. Miller's passing.
I was a friend of Ian's in high school and I fondly remember his household as a place of warm welcome, tolerance, ideas, and enlightenment.
