Obituary of Verna Bechtel

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, at age 93. Beloved daughter of the late Eden Bechtel and Maryetta (nee Rudy); dear sister of Elmer Bechtel, Florence Moncur (Don) and her twin sisters, Bernice Moncur and Beatrice Meirowski; sister-in-law of Doris Bechtel and Mel Mellow and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Willard Bechtel and Clayton Bechtel and his wife Rose, her sister Mabel Brubacher and her husband Abe, her twin sister Vera Mellow, a sister-in-law Mildred Bechtel and brother-in-law Clayton Meirowski. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. at First Mennonite Cemetery, 800 King St. W., Kitchener followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gordon Alton officiating.
