Obituary of Lyle Gole

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to the best father in his 80th year. Lyle was the loving husband of Betty Gole (2009) for 54 years. He was the loving father to Rose-Marie Warren (Gary), Carolann Gelata (Allan) and son-in-law, Larry Schriver. Adored Papa to one granddaughter and five grandsons; eight great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Dear brother of Norma Mueller (John), Betty Oakley (Bob), Linda Klein (Ron), Edward Gole (Mim), and Judy Strathern (Terry). Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Myrtle Gole and daughter Joanne Schriver. Predeceased by his sisters, Lois Privatt (Roy), Ina Prior, and Janet Marten (Harley). Remembered by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Before retirement, Lyle was employed at Tippet Richardson for 35 years. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Lyle with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Rev. Bruce Sweet officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home's fireside reception room.
