Obituary of Milton Kuhn

Passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson disease on Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Mary's General Hospital, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Clemmer) for 64 years; loved father of Brian Kuhn (Alice), Wayne Kuhn (Suzanne) and Colleen Allenson (Dave); loving grandfather of Jeff Kuhn, Jennifer Kawase (Ike), Robert Kuhn, Steven Kuhn (Laura), Jim Barlow (Emily), and Julie Barlow and great-grandfather of Hayley, Benjamin, Michael, Nicholas and Jackson Kuhn, Cameron and Jenna Kawase and Aidan and Mikayla Kuhn. Dear brother of Kenneth Kuhn (Evelyn), Dorothy Delong (Fred), Rita Mueller, and Norma Moore (Jim). Brother-in-law of Clarke Dettweiler. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, William and Maryann (Otterbein) Kuhn, sisters, Katherine Dettweiler and Wilma Keller (Carl), brothers, Harold, Norbert, Carl, and a brother-in-law Harvey Mueller. Milton was an active member of Erb Street Mennonite Church. He farmed for 15 years near Heidelberg and had worked for 20 years at Uniroyal. Family and friends may call at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Erb Street Mennonite Church, 131 Erb St. W., Waterloo with Pastor Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Interment will be in Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery with a reception to follow at the church.
