Obituary of Naomi Sousa

Passed away peacefully, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday August 31, 2013 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Manuel Mello Sousa. Loving mother of Mary Olivia and her husband Antonio Pereira. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Kevin and his wife Christine, Jason and his wife Teresa and granddaughter Leann Pereira. Cherished great-grandmother to Matthew, Mea, Michael and Marco Pereira. Survived by sister-in-law Maria Moniz, brother-in-law Luiz Macedo, nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A., Azores and Argentina. Friends are invited to share their memories of Naomi with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday September 6, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 173 Lourdes St, Waterloo on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Ave E., Waterloo. Reception at the church hall following burial.
