Obituary of Peter Oprel

After a short battle with Melanoma, Peter passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Jean Moyer for 20 years. Peter is survived by Jean's daughters, Connie Gloade (Patrick) and Patricia Crook (Rob). Peter is remembered as Grandpa by Crystal, Michelle, Corrie, and Derek. Dear uncle of Karen, Judy, and Bill. Predeceased by his sister, Anne (Fred) and brother, Jake (Mary). Peter was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Canadian Navy. Before retirement, he owned and operated Waterloo Glass. Following Peter's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
