Obituary of Arthur Vogt

Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in his 102nd year. Arthur is survived by his daughter Mildred Daunheimer, granddaughter Deborah (Herb) Pfeiffer, and three great grandchildren Hayden, Trent and Riley Pfeiffer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret Vogt in 2004, his son-in-law Glenn Daunheimer and his parents Michael and Louisa Vogt. Arthur was born in Formosa Ontario, July 19, 1912. He started working at B.F. Goodrich in 1928 and retired in the early 1970's. Arthur and Margaret enjoyed cottage life at Conestoga Dam. He loved waterskiing and snowmobiling well into his 80's. Arthur will always be remembered as living a vibrant life up until his final day. A graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Ave. East, Waterloo on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 am.
