Obituary of Howard Kappes

Passed away peacefully at Heritage House, St. Jacobs on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Survived by a loving wife, Audrey. A beloved father to daughters; Dawna McIntosh (Bruce) and Valerie Wigboldus (Dale) and son David. Dearly remembered by grandchildren Whitney (Chris) and Cole Wigboldus and Brendan and Connor Jantzi. Remembered by a sister Violet Moore (Andrew) and a special friend Audrey Lawrence. Predeceased by sisters Helen Heimpel and Ruth Heimpel and a brother Herman Kappes. Howard was a true believer in his family church and his beliefs in Christ and his faith was as strong as his will. This best describes our dad/husband in how he lived his life each and every day. A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb Street, West, Waterloo, on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
