Obituary of Uriah Ferguson

Passed away peacefully, at Grand River Hospital, on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the age of 85. Uriah was predeceased by his beloved wife Vera in September 2012. He is survived by his loving daughters Yvonne (Royan) Ferguson-Masters and Suzette (Frank) Ferguson-Sargeant and his cherished grandchildren, Javon and Marcus Masters and Lyric, Caleb and Kenya Sargeant. His nieces Deanna (Wayne) Anderson and their children Phillip, Jordan, Javon, Alex and Jermaine and Hazel Ferguson and her children Nia, Princess, Star, Ladonna and Jody, his great-great nephew Jayden as well as several other nieces, nephews and family members abroad. Also survived by his brothers Derek and Roy (Ula) Ferguson of Jamaica and a sister Thelma (Ken) Simpson of England and their families. Uriah was predeceased by his brothers Clive, Eggbert and Clifford and one sister, Madeline. Friends are invited to share their memories of Uriah with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, October 24 at 10:30am.
