Obituary of Pierre Proulx

Passed away peacefully at his home in Kitchener on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved husband and soul mate of Joan (nee Ayles). Dearly loved brother of Louis Marie Proulx and wife Estelle Menard, Martin Proulx and wife Marie-Paule Lachance, Brigitte Rousseau, André Proulx and friend Edna Twist, Jacques Proulx and wife Lucille Berube, John Proulx, and Jeanne Proulx and her partner Jean Guy Courchesne. Brother-in-law of Marcelle Rousseau. Pierre will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Pedrina (nee Lemire) Proulx; brother, Sylvio Proulx; sister, Jacqueline Proulx; and brother-in-law, Robert Rousseau. Pierre retired in 1989 from Westinghouse after 36 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed photography, hockey, and woodworking. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Pierre during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, October 20 from 1 - 1:45 p.m. The memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., Sunday. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
