I worked as Mr.Trotter's secretary when he was V.P. at Ainley & Associates in the late 1970's. He was always a gentleman and a lovely man to work with. My sincere sympathy to the Trotter family for the loss of a husband, father and grandfather.

Bill & Jean were a very significant part of my introduction to life in Canada back in 1959. I still have quite vivid & fond memories of those days; and it was an honour to be Best Man at their wedding in 1960. Our lives diverged shortly afterwards and although we had not been in contact for many years it was so easy to reconnect and share our stories just six years ago. I know he will be missed by many people and our thoughts and sympathies go to his many friends and family members. Morris & Jenny Hunter.

Dear Jean and family: I was saddened to receive the phone call on Saturday from Jean about the passing of Bro. Bill Trotter. I have many fond memories of Bill in Masonry. He was responsible for me becoming a D.D.G.M. and I thank him for that. Bill received his Grand Stewards appointment the same year I was D.D.G.M. We travelled together for many lodge visits and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. I will miss having conversations with him and the complimentary emails I received from him when I sent him the monthly summons. He was a good Mason and a fine man. To the Trotter Family; I just wanted to pass on my sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of Bill. There are memories both just being around Stayner but also through the Lodge.
