Obituary of Betty Riedlinger

Sept 6, 1928-Oct 31, 2013 Born in Kitchener, Ontario, she was the eldest child of Egbert and Beatrice Seegmiller. She had two younger brothers, George (Jeanne) and Harold (Vi) Seegmiller. Betty was married May 10th, 1951 to Harvey Riedlinger; he pre-deceased her in November 2001. They had three children: Sue Anderson (John Reekie), Kathy Ryan (Gerry) and David Riedlinger (Cheryl). She delighted in her four grandsons Scott and Ian (Tamara) Anderson and Mark and Jeff Ryan. Betty lived most of her life in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. She was a homemaker after the children were born and she loved to travel with Harvey on business trips. After Harvey retired, they spent several years in Vancouver, returning to K-W when Harvey's health declined. Betty will be fondly remembered for her great smile, wonderful recipes and impeccable fashion sense! You will live on in our hearts forever!
