Obituary of Merlin Jutzi
Merlin passed away after a long illness.
Predeceased by wife Grace Kathleen Jutzi (Bast 2011).
Survived by his son Calvin Jutzi (Judy Gascho-Jutzi); granddaughter Catherine Hummel (Jeremy Kimmel); grandson John Jacob Jutzi; daughters-in-law Helen (Marvin 1992), Chris (Kevin 1996) and Tammy (Robin 1998) and sisters Mae Snider and Lucetta Stauffer (Enos).
Predeceased by sons Marvin, Kevin and Robin, parents John and Susan (Kennel) Jutzi; brothers Addison and Munro; sisters Leona Widwick, Mildred Calvert, Ortha Wideman, Phylis Lehman and Blanche Jutzi.
Merlin was a founding member of the K-W Chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and jointly received a centennial medal for his work. Merlin enjoyed his business which included Merlin Machine Co., Blue Seal Turf and Ace Saw Sharpening as well as M.R. Jutzi Auctions with his son and partner Calvin Jutzi.
The Jutzi family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, November 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service for Merlin will take place at First Mennonite Church 800 King St. E., Kitchener on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Brubaker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
