Obituary of Janet Stager

Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Sunday, November 24, 2013 in her 92nd year. Janet was the beloved mother to Allen (Lynn), Brian (Penny), Beth De Stephanis (Lou), Mark (Suzette), and Lynn Struthers (Keith). Cherished grandmother of James (Kerri), Anne, Jeff (Ashley), Melanie (Nathan), Scott (Sacha), Heather, Alex (Jessie), Madelyn, Chris and Chad. Great-grandmother to Lincoln, Lauren and Abigail. Remembered by a sister-in-law Mary Perry (Duncan). Predeceased by her husband Frederick Earl (2006), her granddaughter Traci Stager (1996), sister Margaret Lint (1992), and brother Bill Duncan (1987). Janet resided with her husband Fred on a farm at Blackhorse Corners until 1997 when they retired to Fairview Mennonite Home. Janet was a lifetime member of Knox United Church in Ayr. Special thanks to the staff at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener for their excellent care and support. Friends are invited to share their memories of Janet with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Knox United Church, Ayr before the memorial service. A Memorial service will be held at the Knox United Church, 92 Northumberland St., Ayr, On., on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Dunseith officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
