Obituary of Paul Horgan

On Monday, November 18, 2013 while travelling in South Africa, Paul Horgan passed away unexpectedly with his wife by his side doing what he loved to do at the young age of 58. Paul will be forever loved and cherished by his wife Cathy (nee McGillis); his daughter Julia, his son Daniel and his wife Kim, and his beautiful granddaughter Maeve. He will be missed by his father Frank J. Horgan. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters: Frank Jr., Gregory (Teresa), Michael (Elizabeth), Patrick (Annemieke), Phillip (Christine), Maureen (Klaus) Stitz, and Theresa (Ian) Gray. Paul will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Paul was predeceased by his wonderful mother Jeanne Horgan. Friends are invited to share their memories of Paul with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's R.C Church, 240 Hemlock St. (at University Ave.) Waterloo on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10 a.m., with Father Cornelius J. O'Mahony as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow in the church hall.
