Obituary of George Buck

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the age of 88. George is survived by his children, Joan (Bob) Jensen, Bill (Elly) Buck, Robert (Judy) Buck, Barbara (Larry Kowtuski) Buck, Brenda (Rudy) Bedicz, Bruce (Pearl) Buck and Bradley (Sue) Buck, as well as his grandchildren, Christine, David, Angela, Danny, Dawn, Katherine, Margaret, Jennifer, William, Ian and Adam as well as 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his beloved wife Coletta Buck (nee Rumig) in 1989, brother William Jr. and sister Lois Chesher. George was born in Delhi Ontario February 27, 1925 to the late William Sr. and Myrtle Buck. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a long time employee of Uniroyal. After his retirement, George, a resident of Dunbar road in Waterloo, enjoyed taking care of his animals. He adopted many cats and dogs over the years including his beloved dog, Babes. Cremation and a private graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
