Obituary of Ruth Yeandle

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in St. Catharines, Ontario, on Tuesday December 3, 2013, at the age of 82 years. Ruth was born September 3, 1931 in Huron County. Ruth was a loving mother to Brenda and her husband Michael Soccio of St. Catharines. Proud grandmother of Matija and Eden. Sister of Jessie Wanamaker of Napanee and sister-in-law of Joyce Wallace of Seaforth. She is predeceased by her parents Alexander Wallace and Mable nee Dutot, six sisters and four brothers. Ruth was a very generous lady especially with her charitable giving to organizations especially supporting children and animals, also a dedicated volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society. A compassionate friend, Ruth was always open to spending time with friends and family, sometimes using her involvement as an Avon sales associate which gave her another way to keep in touch with friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday December 6, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will then continue on Saturday December 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. until the memorial service is held at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow in the Historic Kuntz House of the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains to take place at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
