Obituary of Joseph Deziel

Dad passed away on December 3, 2013 at his residence, Lanark Place Retirement Home in his 88th year. Loving husband of Yolanda (nee Cetrano) for 67 dedicated years. Dear father of Jim and his wife Linda of Waterloo, and Joanne Wlodarczyk and her husband Bob, of Caledon. Dear Poppy to his grandchildren Fraser and Jessica, Taylor and Denise, Natalie Ann and Jason, Robbie and Christina. Great-Grand-Poppy to Ariadne, Jordan, Ava, Nicholas, Noah and Sophia. Joe was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Marie Deziel and his brother Omer and sister Janet Frost. He was a lifetime member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a founding member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Toronto. Dad's dedication to his family, church and friends will stay with us forever. His sense of humour and harmonica playing will be missed by all those who knew him. Friends are invited to share their memories of Joseph with his family during visitation at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church 173 Lourdes Street Waterloo, on Friday December 6, 2013 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church with Monsignor Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place on Monday at 11 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Toronto.
