Carol & family: I was saddened to learn of Joe's illness and passing. You have been in my thoughts since I heard. I wanted to come down on the weekend but got sick with the flu. It's been a while, but I remember the fun we had back in the day, and still remember you guys stopping in Leamington on your home from your honeymoon. What is there to be said? Every time I try, a tear is wept. My heart is heavy and very sad. I am truly sorry for the loss of Uncle Joe. Whether you had the pleasure of knowing him for a day or for years, Joe had a way of bringing you in, and feel special. An amazing person, whom has touched so many, left behind is the family behind the man. “A LEGACY OF HIS LOVE” How do you console, when you don't know what to say? I want to take the pain away, make the hurt go away but I cannot, as the loss of a husband, a father, a father-in-law and grandfather is life altering. Life does not seem fair sometimes, but we need to remember that he would not want us to mourn for long. He would want his family and friends to remember him with a smile for some day we will all be re-united in Heaven, where there is no cancer, no pain and no sorrow.
