Obituary of Manfred Wenk

Passed away at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, July 7, 2014, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Veronika Wenk for 51 years. Cherished Dad of Rhona Hyde and husband Reg and Christine Derry and husband Brett. Loving Opa to Brianna (Charles), Robert, Matthew, and Sarah. Fred is also survived by his sister-in-law, Gisela Stobbe and her family. Predeceased by his son, Robert in 1967; parents, Kurt and Frieda (nee Buchheim) Wenk; and brother-in-law, Henry Stobbe. Fred's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, July 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Olaf Poulsen officiating. Immediately following the service, relatives and friends are invited to a reception in the funeral home's Fireside Room. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Erbsville.
