Obituary of Johanna Brand

Brand, Johanna Passed away at Grand River Hospital K-W Health Centre on August 13, 2014 at the age of 96 years. Johanna Brand, loving wife of the late Andries Brand ( 1976 ). Loving mother of Harriette Bociurko ( Robert ), Joyce Shantz ( Robert ), Margo Dean ( Brian ), Andy Brand. Dear grandmother of Jim Simmons ( Kim), Kim Kleist ( John ), Kelly Shantz, Jacqueline Barr ( Derek ), David Mollison ( Gina ) , Mark Mollison (Thanh), Tyler Brand, Ryan Brand. Sadly missed by her step grandchildren Jennifer Bryant, Patrick Dean and their families. Loving Grandmother of 8 great Grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson in infancy. Johanna's family was most important to her and she was the core of her clan. She loved and was loved by all her friends in the craft group at Luther Village on the Park. Johanna loved gardening and always had flowers around her home. She was an incredibly wonderful person with a beautiful, giving and loving nature. At Johanna's request cremation has taken place and there will be a private family celebration of her life at a later date.
