Obituary of Margaret Martin

Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the age of 76. Survived by a loving husband, Robert. Dear mother of Jennifer Martin of Vancouver, B.C., Deborah Thomson and her husband Stuart of Atlanta, G.A. and Marianne Day and her husband Ian of Chesterfield, England. Cherished grandmother of Eric Thomson, Bethany Thomson and her husband, John Moreno, Zach and Melissa Martin, Daniel, Laura and Megan McCleavy. Remembered by brothers, David Ritchie and his wife Karen, Jim Ritchie and sister, Janet Scott. Margaret was an elder at Waterloo North Presbyterian Church, assisted with our local Crisis Help Line and was a member of Al-Anon Family Groups. Predeceased by son Donald Martin. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with John Young officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
