Obituary of Albert Emery

It is with great sorrow and heavy emotions that we announce the passing of Albert Emery on September 21, 2014. Dear husband to his loving wife Susan Emery and will be greatly missed by Susan's family. Loving father to Mark Emery (Dee Emery), Keith Emery (Lee Emery) and predeceased by his son Christopher Emery. Beloved grandfather to Sonya Emery, Michael Emery, Myra Emery, Shawn Emery, Matthew Emery, Dale Emery, step- grandfather to Shawna and Kerri and great-grandfather to Austin and Conner. Albert was a wonderful friend to many and a WWII Veteran who served in England. Albert loved playing tennis and enjoyed being active. Albert was the true embodiment of what an Emery is defined as strong, successful, intelligent, cunning, sarcastic and most of all he was a leader. We will greatly miss and will always lovingly remember Albert for the love and laughter he has given to us throughout the years. A private family celebration for the life of Albert Emery will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
