Lois Coleman

Obituary of Lois Coleman

On September 22nd, Lois Coleman passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, to be with the Lord. Lois was a devoted Christian, loving wife and partner, an incredible mother and proud grandmother, as well as a deeply caring daughter, sister, sister-in-law, Aunt and friend and good neighbour to so many throughout the years. Her wonderful sense of humour, her beautiful smile, her deep integrity, her kindness, and most importantly her strong faith in the Lord saw her through the many challenges in her well-lived life. She always said she felt truly blessed - enjoying her family, her home, her flowers, especially times spent up at the cottage, driving a fast car (and boat!), and just living life. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 54 years, Jim; her daughters Dana, Rhonda O'Neill (Tom), and Michelle, and her two amazing grandchildren, Dylan and Lindsay O'Neill. She will be so missed by her dear sister-in-law Anne Boniface, brother Barry Boniface, as well as her cherished Coleman family (Bob and Lee), along with her many wonderful nieces and nephews, in Canada and around the world. Predeceased by her parents, George (2000) and Olive (2011) Boniface and her brother Terry Boniface (2009). Although we mourn the huge loss, they are all together in Heaven now, laughing, smiling, and without pain or suffering. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Acute Care Unit staff at Grand River Hospital 5th floor, who made Mom's last days of her worldly journey so peaceful and well-cared for. A private family service will take place at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to Christian Horizons may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
