Obituary of Owen Granger

Granger, Owen Zachary Owen Zachary Granger at the age of 86 passed away October 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family after enduring complications with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lillian Granger and siblings Delimar, Atelbert, Celestine (Mumi), Henrina, Hubert (Kelly), Kelvin, Lenora, Veronica (Phyllis), Mavis and Marie. Beloved husband of Eva, loving father of Mark and Jennifer and doting grandfather to Maya. Treasured Brother to Macrena (Ena), Agatha (Merle) and Margaret (Maggie). Cherished Uncle of Cyril, Cheryl, Listra, Sandra, Dellis, Clyde, Carlos, Gary, Denise, Michelle and many others. Forever in the hearts of all his extended family. Sadly missed as a friend and mentor to many in Canada and Trinidad. Owen was a teacher with Waterloo County Board of Education, Elder at First United Church, avid sportsman and cricketer. Friends are invited to share their memories of Owen with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 9, 2014 at 11 am in First United Church, 16 William Street W, Waterloo.
