Obituary of Joy Roth

Passed away peacefully after a short illness at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Joy emigrated to Canada in 1946 to join Carl whom she met while he was stationed near her hometown of Horsham in Sussex, England. Joy was a loving mother to James (RoseMary), Roger (Sherryl), Daniel (Faye) and Andrea (Ron Pearson) and daughter-in-law Carole. She is survived by brother Raymond Chriss (Caryll) and sister-in-law Jean Barrow as well as 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Carl (1994) and son Charles (2013). To honour Joy's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate Joy's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, ON on Saturday, January 24th at 11:00 am.
