Obituary of Mable Schmidt

Passed away peacefully, at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the age of 96 years. Survived by her son Lloyd Schmidt, grandchildren Mike and Rob Pelletier, Patricia and David Schmidt and two great-grandchildren. Also remembered by her sister Edna and sister-in-law Julia Hamel. Mable was predeceased by her husband Karl in 1989, daughter Janet Pelletier in 1999 and brother Irvin Hamel. Mable was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. In earlier years, she was active at Rockway Senior's Centre and enjoyed bowling for many years as well as their cottage at Sauble Beach. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mable's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 am. Cremation has taken place and a reception will follow the memorial service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
