Obituary of Eva Bruder
Passed away peacefully on Sunday February 15, 2015 at Guelph General Hospital at 82 years of age. Eva was born in Bois Blanc, New Brunswick on October 16, 1932 to Josephine and Wilfred Robichaud. Eva moved to Cambridge in early 1970. She was introduced to her husband Arthur by his sister Helen. Eva and Arthur were married in 1975 and lived in Maryhill for many years. For the last fifteen years, they lived in their condo in Guelph. Eva was a volunteer at the Maryhill nursing home and a choir member of St. Boniface RC Church in Maryhill. Eva enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds and loved learning new things. What Eva enjoyed the most was spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her many trips to New Brunswick to spend time with her Acadian relatives. Eva was very proud of her Acadian heritage.
She is survived by her beloved husband Arthur. Sadly missed by her siblings: Elzear Robichaud, Annette Gagne (Donald), Robert Robichaud (Janet), Gisele Corcoran (Don), Paul Robichaud and Anne Marie Robichaud (Craig), her many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Helen Dorsch and brother-in-law Elmer Bruder.
Predeceased by her brother Edger Robichaud and sister-in-law Norma Robichaud.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Eva with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 3 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Voisin as Celebrant. Interment at the St. Boniface R.C. Cemetery. Following the interment will be a reception at the Maryhill Heritage Park Community Centre.
