Obituary of George Wallace

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Viola. Dear father of Karen Ruth Cornies (Ron) and John Wallace. Proud grandfather of Kara and Henry. Survived by sisters-in-law, Florence Wideman (Aaron deceased), Ellen Moyer (Carson deceased), and Laura Shantz (Milo deceased) and brother-in-law, Abner Martin (Shirley). Predeceased by his brothers, Bruce and Fred; sisters-in-law, Helen Wallace, Cecile Wallace, Almeda Martin; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Martin and wife Gladys. Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at Stirling Ave., Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Ave., Kitchener, on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Renee Sauder officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery, 2035 Three Bridges Road, St. Jacobs, Ontario.
