Obituary of Barbara Elliott

Passed away at Lisaard House in Cambridge on Thursday, May 21, 2015, eight months after being diagnosed with Mesothelioma. Barb would have celebrated her 68th birthday on June 4. Barb is survived by her beloved daughters, Tami Popp (Mark), Heather Filsinger (Simon Spencer) and adored grandsons, Sage Popp and Mylo Spencer, all of Vancouver Island, B.C.; her mother, Eva Elliott of Waterloo; twin sister, Brenda Duncan of Coquitlam, B.C.; and sister Donna Brown (Orville) of Meaford. Barb is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Alvin Elliott and nephew and godson, Scott Duncan. Barb and family wish to express gratitude for the extreme kindness and generosity from family, friends and co-workers. According to Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced closer to that time.
