Obituary of Doreen Maue

Passed away at her residence at Victoria Place Retirement Home on Saturday July 11, 2015 at the age of 81years. Doreen Maue, loving wife of the late Ernest Robert Maue (2008). Dear mother of Elizabeth Ryder (John) of Kitchener and Terri Maue (Greg Marshall) of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Katie Ryder, Dana Hoit and Graeme Hoit (Aubrey Sozer). Sadly missed by her sisters Margaret Bogensberger, Barbara Anne Reitzel (Brian) and Susan Carleton (Mark Godin). Doreen will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Marie McDougall and her sister Thelma Rumney (Don) and brother in law Paul Bogensberger. Doreen was a very active member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kitchener and spent many years in St. Andrew's WMS and as a Kerygma Leader for adult education through the church. She was retired after many dedicated years as a supply teacher with the Waterloo County Board of Education. Friends are invited to share their memories of Doreen with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Cremation to follow. A reception will take place in the Fireside Room of the funeral home after the service.
