Obituary of David Vaughan

While traveling in the U.S., David died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the age of 64. David was a Professor of Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University. During his career, he served the university in many capacities, including Mathematics Department Chair and Associate Dean of Science. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary Ann and his adored daughter Jennifer, sisters Marjorie and Linda (George), brother John (Linda), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother Frank. Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will follow at a later date. A celebration of David's life will be held at Wilfrid Laurier in September. To honour his memory, the University has created the Dr. David C. Vaughan Memorial Fund.
