Obituary of Stanislaus Schwarz

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario on August 22, 2015 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Hedy for over 60 years. Greatly missed by his daughter Petra Nusink and her husband Rudy. Proud and forever loved Opa of Danielle Vogel. Dear brother-in-law and childhood friend of Herbert Wiesner and his wife Erika. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Viktor, Ernst, Elisabeth Sengera, Erika Gollinger, Johann and his wife Hedwig, brother-in-law Erwin Wiesner and his wife Annemie along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Anton and Theresia (Hartl), sisters Wilhelmine and Katharina, and brother-in-law Manfred Sengera. Stan was self-employed in the construction industry for most of his life and continued working well past his planned retirement of 65 years of age. He was a talented musician, avid gardener and lover of nature and animals. Weather permitting you would find him outdoors. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in the chapel at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the funeral home's Fireside room.
