Obituary of Karin Henning

Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday December 11, 2015 after having recently celebrated her 67th birthday. Beloved wife and best friend of Kurt Henning. Amazing mother to Christopher (Michelle) of West Montrose and Nikki of Kitchener. Loving and proud Oma/Omi to Caprice, Avery, Jackson and Cooper. Dear sister of Christina Ashcroft (Michael & Alexandra) of British Columbia. Karin will be missed and remembered by her cousins Monika Wenske (Jürgen & Oliver), Martina Schröder (Ralf) of Germany, sister in law Herta Zimmer (Hans), brother in law Georg Henning (Hildegard) as well as her nieces and nephews, of Austria. Predeceased by her parents Rudy and Eva Schulze of Waterloo. Karin was such a beautiful soul. Her kind, gentle manner, great sense of humour, patience and smile was admired by everyone who knew her. Karin found her true happiness spending time with family especially at the cottage, watching her grandchildren grow, and having a good laugh with her close friends. She will certainly be missed by all. We will celebrate Karin's life at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday December 23, 2015 at 1:00pm., followed by a reception at the Concordia Club in the Schenke, 429 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
