Obituary of Neil Morrison

MORRISON, (Gordon) Wally Wally passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre in Kitchener on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 91. Loving husband of Marie and cherished father of Cam (wife Susan), Lynn Morrison, Diana Ibbotson, Dale Russell (husband Gary), Louise Wallace (husband Shane), and Dan Buckley (wife Trixie). Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Wally is survived by his first wife, Ruth Webber. Predeceased by his parents, Dr. Neil Alexander Morrison and Sarah Morrison. Wally retired from B.F. Goodrich after 46 years of service and was a long-serving member of the Lions Club of Kitchener. He was an avid sailor of the Great Lakes and enjoyed spending summers at Lurgan Beach and Georgian Bay. Wally and Marie were 28-year season ticket holders of the Kitchener Rangers. The Morrison family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Room. Cremation will follow with a private family interment.
