Since her birth 60 years ago, I have known Linda Flatt, her parents, Jack and Mary Flatt, and also her sister Lorraine. All of them attended the Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church in Winnipeg. It was always a joy to welcome Linda to the Sunday morning service. She had a smile for everyone, and this we appreciated until she moved to Ontario. I am sure that it continued at the Erb Street Mennonite Church as well. Another remembrance was that Linda was always so proud to show off her jewelry every Sunday, so that we could enjoy it as well. No doubt James Friesen, who cared for Linda to the end of her life, will miss Linda's infectious smile. He is to be commended for the care of Linda during the past years, especially during the time following the death of his wife, Lorraine. No doubt there is a reward waiting for him.
