I have only just learned of Clare's passing. Clare and Lois were very welcoming to me and my partner Denise when I began my work at CNIB in KW. We had dinner with them a few times and greatly enjoyed their company and joy of life. They also celebrated the birth of our daughter Emma who is now 18. Clare and Lois were dedicated volunteers to the CNIB and their generosity and influence has inspired my career. My deepest sympathies.

I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of knowing Clare. He was a devoted husband who made breakfast every weekend for his beautiful wife. He was a proud father of his 3 sons with whom he shared his love of boating and his wisdom of the world. He was a loving grandpa and great-grandpa who loved to make them laugh and smile. I have the greatest respect for Clare. I know he will be deeply missed. He showed everyone who knew him...work hard, play hard and love from the heart. May you rest in peace.
