Mom still had light brown hair at her age of 75. We girls could always make her giggle out loud by declaring that we had dyed our hair last night or had to go home and dye our hair because "some people" don't...meaning her! She'd say "I don't." and we'd say "We know!" and she'd giggle some more...

Dear Jan, Chuck and family...our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother, Yolande. We know that she meant the world to you and that you miss her now and will in the years to come. We hope that you are comforted by the knowledge that she is resting in the hands of the Lord and that one day you will be together again. Dearest cousins, We were saddened to hear about aunt Yolande's passing but also rejoicing in God's mercy for taking her home to be with HIM and also with your dear Dad and relatives. We share in your deep sorrow and offer you our most sincere condolences. May you be comforted in knowing that we are praying for you especially in these trying times. Unfortunately it will not be possible for us to attend your dear Mom's funeral as aunt Berthe due to her advanced age is not able to travel far and we, as caregivers need to be with her every day.
