Its the day after Moms birthday Oma, almost 2 months past mine and nicks and its been so confusing not having you here to talk to anymore. I miss you so much! Sooo much! But i know, knowing you and opa like you were bip and bop, your watching over us right now. It's just so unreal. Not having both of you hear. You will never be forgotten.

Dear Vicky and Family, I send my heartfelt sympathy as I recently learned of your Mom's passing. At that time, I also realized that it was not that long ago that you lost your father. That is not easy! I'm positive that you don't recognize my name. I was formerly Lisa Sweeney and my sister Jill and I were babysat by our "Nana" (Evelyn Stewart) just a few houses up from you on Patricia. We spent many hours there as our parents worked at St. Mary's hospital. I happened to notice your mother's obituary in the Record and it brought back a flood of memories. Both of your parents were very kind and friendly whenever I called on you. I know that my Nana enjoyed their visits for years to come as she gave me up-dates whenever I visited her. One of my fondest memories of your family included running errands with you in your parents' "punchbuggy". I thought that your car was the coolest and I still love VW bugs today. Anyway, I know that many years have gone by. I was unable to stop in at the visitation so I thought I'd just drop you a note. Don't hesitate to email me some time if you have a chance. I'd love to hear what you are up to today. I still live in Kitchener with my husband Wally and our 3 kids. Know that I am thinking of you and wishing you much happiness and good health for 2011. 2010 must have been a difficult time for you but may your warmest memories of both of your parents sustain you. Vicky, Robert en kinderen, We wensen jullie veel sterkte de komende tijd, met het gemis van jullie moeder en oma. Onze tante Liesje en jullie papa Oome Dirk, krijgen vooral tijd een warmplekje in ons hart. Vooral in deze tijd (de Kerstdagen en Nieuwjaar) is dit extra moeilijk. We draaien regelmatig de muziek uit Canada waar jullie ouders van houden. Love from Hans en Marjan

Lieve Lies Dit wordt de laatste brief aan jou.Bijna ons hele leven hebben we ver van elkaar gewoond,maar dat was geen probleem want we konden schrijven en onze band was zo goed dat we veel van elkaar wisten.Een stukje stof in de brief van een jurk die gemaakt werd een draadje wol van een trui die werd gebreid ennz. Later toen er meer geld was reisden we met ons vieren,we hebben veel plezier gehad. Zelfs kamperen in de regen en een kapotte auto,niets kon ons deren.Zoete herinneringen zullen altijd blijven. Ook ik als zwager,heb prettige herinneringen aan alles wat we met elkaar deden,zo een grote afstand en zo een nauwe band, EEN UNICUM
