Obituary of Maurice Fletcher

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Trinity Village Care Centre in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Iva for 62 years. Loving father of Brenda (John) Savage, Paul, and Don. Dear grandfather of Kristy & her husband Jason Kemp, Jennifer, Michael, Jessica, Erin, and Meghan and great-grandfather of Mason. Predeceased by parents Archibald and Margaret Fletcher, and one siser Phylis Bastien. Maurice was a supervisor at the K-W Rehabilitation Service. He was also the owner at United Taxi for many years. He studied at Regina Bible College in Regina, Saskatchewan many years ago. Maurice was a longtime member of Community Christian Reform Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maurice with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Maurice's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff at Trinity Village Care Centre for their compassionate care of Maurice during his stay.
