Dear LaVerne & Family, We are so sorry to hear of Norma's passing & are sorry that we can not be there with you during this time. Back in the Dungannon days we spent many hours cavorting with our cousins on the farm. If memory serves, many of those visits included "farm role playing" games (go figure!) with us bumping around the house making lots of noise. Knowing how much noise my own children, nieces and nephews make when they are together I can only say "thank you aunt Norma for being so patient with us!" I cannot recall her ever asking us to be quiet or take our games elsewhere. You will be missed.

We so appreciated you and Norma coming over to our car and introducing yourselves when we were at St. Jacob's church for the visitation of Nancy Frey's brother. Laverne and family, I am so sorry that I am not able to be with you in person. I am with you in spirit and my thoughts and prayers are with you also. May you feel God's loving arms holding you and giving you comfort. I have many wonderful memories of our OMBS Class reunions and I can almost hear Norma's laughter as I think of the good times we have had together. Peace be with you.

We have had the privilege of coaching Bonnie for many years in various sports through both Special Olympics and Sports for Special Athletes. While we didn't have the pleasure of knowing Norma, we know Bonnie to be a fine young woman who would be a credit to any mother. She spoke of her mother often and loved her very much.
