Obituary of Jeffery L. Evans

Passed away tragically as a result of an auto accident at Crowsnest Pass, B.C - Alberta Border at the age of 48. Survived by brothers Richard Evans of Sparwood, B.C., James ("Bud") Evans of Kitchener and sister Susan Ann Neitzel and her husband Wayne of Kincardine, Former sister-in-law Laurie Evans and step-father Peter Playford of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by 7 nieces and nephews and their respective families and his aunts and uncles. Also fondly remembered by his many friends in the Waterloo Region. Predeceased by his mother Lois Playford (Evans) in 2008, his father William Evans in 1966 and his sister Wendy Jean in 1954 in infancy. Jeff was employed as a heavy machinery operator at an open pit mine in Sparwood, B.C. for a number of years. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. A reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens, Breslau at a later date.
