My sincere condolences to Mr. Reilly's family. A true gentleman who I met through arbitration and mediation. He brought responsibility to the table, as well as fairness, respect and humour. He has left us far too soon. Mr. Reilly and I had a "Scottish bond" as my family was from Scotland. His stories are priceless. He will be truly missed...

My deepest condolences. Your father was an exceptional man. My first introduction to him was while I was a Manager of Labour Relations at a downtown hospital. His style was one of fairness and reasonableness. He taught me and showed me a style that I have mirrored ever since. Frank was my favourite mediator. He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Reilly’s family. During my career with United Steelworkers, I had the privilege of working with Mr. Reilly on several occasions. He had a remarkable ability to quickly identify the real issues in a dispute and to assist the parties in resolving the matter. It wasn't always easy. Some days were long and tiresome. But on even the most difficult days, he always maintained his sense of humour and the twinkle in his eyes. He was admired and respected by both labour and management. I know he will be missed.

Frank was a great man and friend. I had the pleasure of both working with him and being "worked" by him. He understood people and how to resolve problems! Truly one of the best, he will be missed by all of us in the labour relations community!

It is with great sadness that I've learned of this terrible loss to you, Eleanor and your family. Although I have not seen Frank for many years I've always been kept aware of his many successes through John and others. I have so many great memories of our younger years when Frank, John and I started with RWDSU. We worked together for many years both at RWDSU and then at the Labour Board until we went our separate ways. The world will be a sadder place without Frank. God bless

My heartfelt sympathy to Eleanor and family. Though I had not seen Frank in many years, he was instrumental in shaping my future in many positive ways by introducing me to the union way. I will remember him fondly as a passionate person with a commitment to justice and lifelong learning. He will not be forgotten.

I remember my employer saying that Frank Reilly is going to be the Arbitrator for upcoming cases, I kept saying when will I meet this famous guy. Then the day arrived, we were doing a discharge this day and me being someone who nevers keep his mouth shut sits down in the room and Frank is going over the facts and details, I kept interrupting him over and over again, then I still remember him raising his voice and saying you don't talk unless your spoken to too I sat through 5 hours of hearing and never said a word. The years that followed were more pleasant as Frank really got to know me for who I was and I considered him a friend and not a arbitrator.

My sincerest condolences go to Franks family. I was very saddened to hear this as Frank is someone who could light up a room, I really enjoyed working with him as he was a straight shooter and called it as it is. He will be truly missed. Forever in my prayers.
