Dear Freddie, Family and Friends: Many years have passed since we wondered through the forests to explore the wilderness of Elliot Lake. I remember our visits with your family on Sunday drives to Elliot Lake in the summer months which ended up a weeks stay for me. Your dog Lassie and two cats at that time kept us busy, and oh yes the rabbits, I was lucky to take one of the white ones home with me. We built many cabins and were able to run wild and if I remember correctly, Wanda and I ended up tied to a few trees, thanks to you and my brother Eddie. When Ed and Fred got together there was always (fun) trouble. We enjoyed many family celebrations as children and they were all fun times. We had the greatest Polish meals at each celebration and oh yes our parents enjoyed the spirits. We all benefited, we are all great cooks and enjoy our Polish heritage. Our parents worked hard, no stopping till the job was done, thats what I remember. Well Freddie, you are resting now, as I'm remembering all our childish ventures I am smiling. God Bless your family and friends.....as you begin your new journey!

Dearest Freddie On behalf of the Wolski Family we are saddened by your sudden passing. Where have the years gone? I myself missed your call in the fall of 2010, but I believe you had the opportunity to speak with my sister Christine. We will always remember you Freddie, all the good times and funny times we shared as children growing up with our Polish culture and as First Generation Canadians. Our parents had great work ethic and we carry that part of our heritage on. We grew up knowing how to share the greater good, as in Polish food, music, song and dance. It was always about family, friends and good food. For that we thank our father, Lucian who has been deceased for 30 yrs. and mother who will be celebrating her "90"th Birthday. We will raise our glasses to you, Olga and Mike. Well my friend, God Bless you and may you now rest in peace. Alushia, Wanda, Eddie, Christine, Renita, Stanley and our mom Gertrude Wolski xox

Dearest Fred On behalf of the Wolski Family we are all saddened by your passing. As families that immigrated to Canada our parents shared many hard times together and we as First Generation Canadians we know the meaning of "Good Work Ethic". There was no stopping until the job was done. Thats just the way we were raised. As children growing up with an ethnic culture, we are proud of our Polish heritage and that we were and are able to share all the good with extended family and friend's. was always about sharing, the good food, music, song and dance. We all have good memories and it doesn't seem that it was 35 years ago or more. God Bless you Freddie, and may you rest in peace.

Wanda, Lucy and Families: I was saddened to hear of the passing of Fred, as I just spoke with him in January of this year. It was quite overwhelming to hear from a childhood family friend as our families had lost touch for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Cherish the memories and keep him close at heart. My sincere condolences. Christine

Lots of laughs with Fred and Janet. Watching them train and nurture the dogs. Fred wandering around in public wearing his pyjama's and slippers.... it didn't matter where. Remembering when they moved into the house down from mine....they painted the whole place in one night! When Fred put his mind to something....nothing dare get in his way! Fred's home made soup...could he put together soup! Fred and Janet's spaghetti... mmmmm good! Yes Fred had a dark side too but that is who he was.....yes Fred....I remember good times, sad times.....rest in peace dear man, I shall remember you.

FRED, WHEN HE WAS GOOD HE WAS GOOD. HE WAS LOVING, CARING, THOUGHT FULL AND KIND. WHEN HE WANTED TO BE. HE LOVED ANIMALS AND ME. WHEN WE LAUGHED WE REALLY LAUGHED. I HAVE MANY GOOD MEMORIES, CAMPING, NIAGARA FALLS,TRIPS TO CALGARY HOW WE STARTED OUT AND MARRIED. FOR ANYONE WHO REALLY KNEW HIM, WHEN HE WAS BAD, HE WAS BAD. BUT, ALSO COULD STILL BE FUNNY WITH HIS DRY SENSE OF HUMOUR. YOU JUST HAD TO KNOW HIM. IF HE LIKED YOU LIFE WAS GOOD. HE HAD A FAST AND HARD LIFE. THATS JUST HOW HE LIKED TO PLAY. BUT HE DID SUCCEED AT BEING CONTENT. FRED LOVED PAINTING HOUSES. I REMEMBER THE DAY HE TAUGHT ME TO PAINT AND TO THIS DAY I DARE NOT HOLD THE PAINT BRUSH IN THE PAINT PAST THE SILVER PART. IF I DO I SAY IF FRED COULD SEE THIS, OH MAN!!! SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I HATE PAINTING. BELIEVE IT OR NOT THERE IS A SYSTEM TO PAINTING AND IF DONE RIGHT IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD JOB. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO CHANGE THE OIL IN MY CAR. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO APPRECIATE A GOOD CAR AND TAKE CARE OF IT. FRED WAS NOT A QUITTER AND HE ALWAYS MANAGED TO GET WHAT HE WANTED. WITH IT WAS RIGHT OR WRONG HE GOT IT. THAT WAS JUST FRED. HE LIKE A GOOD HOME COOKED MEAL. I COULD WATCH HIM EAT FOR HRS. HE ALSO TAUGHT ME HOW TO COOK UP A STORM TOO. LOVED HIS POLISH FOOD, AND HOMEMADE HEAD CHEESE TO DIE FOR. ANYWAY NOW HE CAN FINALLY REST IN PEACE , HE RELIEVED IN GOD AND NOW HE IS HOME WITH THE REST OF HIS FAMILY AND CAN FINALLY BE HAPPY. GO FRED, AND START ANEW!!!!!! YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR MEMORIES.
RIP JANET, MARY JAKE AND JODY
