I am sorry for your loss. The image I keep seeing is a happy young Fiona at your Waterloo home, light hair flowing as she runs through a house full of harpsichord music, magic tricks and pottery. While I haven't seen her in years, this is the memory I hold of her, a bright happy soul. My sincere condolences.

I've known Fiona since high school at Bluevale. She was always so kind, warm, and caring. I also got to see her at UW over the years and loved to see her wonderful smile and get caught-up. While we saw each other infrequently, I will miss seeing her. I know that her kind spirit will be with us always. My thoughts and prayers are with Fiona's family.

The Hutchison's are the next door neighbours to the Hudgins at Sunfish. Soon after Bob and Carol purchased the cottage...Fiona's precense in the neighbourhood was quickly evident. She became very close to us...especially to my father...Jack (who passed away 11 years ago at 83 years) She took great interest in communicating with him about issues on the lake, or his work ethic on the family property. She was certainly not shy in approaching Jack whenever the situation presented it, and very clearly stated very strong opinions. After Jack's passing, she continued to be a regular visitor...often 'spotting' Betsy's kids on the trampoline...or just letting us know she was interested in what was new in our family. She never refused a good hug...and her lovely friendly face...always showed the love that she came from.
We will miss her this summer...and for many more.
With the fondest regards,
John & Cathy, Kim & Cameron Hutchison

l was very honoured to have become become friends with Fiona through the 'Listening For God' study group at Parkminster Church. She was an University student, and the rest of us were 'mature women'. WE all loved her openness, and free spirit, and Fiona enjoyed the friendship, and love we extended to her - opening her family home for at least one meeting, and bringing out some forsaken ginger cookies from the cupboard, for our tea and lunch. She was very 'nonplussed'. l had never seen Fiona look so healthy, and radiant as when l saw her at church just over a year ago. She had just said good-bye to her siblings, and her nieces and nephews before they returned to B.C. That happy picture, and beautiful smile will be my memory of this wonderful young lady.
